Milk in my protein drink?

Some people say do it, others say mix it with water or juice. I've talked with several people who are big proponents of using powdered milk. What do you guys think?
 
A lot of sugar in milk
Milk bloats may cause bloat
Lactose can give some people big stomach issues

I use water. Once and a while I will use 1 part milk: 3 parts water
 
depends on your goals but imo you should never put milk in you PWO shake as it slows absorption.

are you in a famished/starved state when you being your workout? if youre eating within a few hours of your workout, you will still have aminos in your system - super fast absorbing protein PWO means fuckall.

Some research even shows that a mix of whey/casein is superior PWO. guess what readily available liquid happens to be composed of whey and casein proteins....

i was going to mention this in my post. but instead went with the milk is fine PWO...LOL

to let it be known milk is roughly 80/20 casien/whey
also whole milk has been shown too be increase insulin levels.

Im not gonna get into an argument on this. Theres studies to support your opinion and studies to support mine, although i was careful to state that it was my "opinion". Notice the origial post in this thread.

That tells you right there there is no answer on this subject. to debate it is pointless.
