mixing creatine with somethign else other than gatorade?

i gotta question why not anything acidic i take my creatine with low sugar o.j. is that not good???what does the acids do???

when i bought my creatine monohydrate, the guy there told me that the acidity breaks down the creatine and doesnt work, so he said especially orange juice. also, on the bottle it says nothing with acid.
