before anything else, my boxing training is very straineous and total body taxing. people at the MMA gym can't give me a straight answer to how was I suppose to make a split of my schedule.

can anyone help????

i'm planning on a 2-3 days of lifting and 2-3 days of MMA.

someone help. thanks

You'll have to play it by ear based on your own body dude, but yes it is very difficult. Many people who do MMA I find don't work out other than MMA related conditioning, so the 30 minutes of conditioning work I did per every 60 minutes of class time (30m conditioning 30m practice/learning) really was beating the shit out of me and hurting my weight training.

You will very likely have to back off on weights a bit and be cautious as to how exactly you do train at all.

all good points mudge,

I am training grappling 3x\week 2hr sessions and I am on a basic 2 day weights. Angry--stick to bench \squat\deads and accesory work as needed or as your body lets you. Take off a day or two here and there when you are beat up--listne to your body--and dont forget to take a week off every 4-12 weeks. Feed the body w\wholsome foods and adequete sleep to help ya out even more. Drink that gatorade durring practices and reload on water!
