u can buy whatever u want in pharmacies. they just take your order and ask u to come back the day after.

This is true. If you have the money, some people would sell you anything in the store. Problem is, that doesn't mean it isn't illegal there....and a prison in morocco is NOT where I would want to be for any amount of time.

Keep in mind that it's a muslim country that bases their legal system heavily on the Koran. While you might get lucky and find someone in the pharmacy who will accept your bribe, if a muslim sees the exchange happen they would be beyond happy to turn you both in as the Koran says they should.

In my opinion it definitely isn't worth the risk.

i've spent significant periods of time in a variety of muslim countries.

i've also spent a fair amount of time in morocco.

i wasn't doing or looking into gear at the time.... but i know that money rules the majority of times there.

muslim or not, qu'ran based or not, and it isn't the guy that turns you in that you have to bribe, it's the guy that doesn't want to do the paperwork.

of course, they might be more than happy to go ahead and throw you into the clay pit but it all depends on where you are and what you look like and what you look you're doing and who you're doing it with.

i'd say the most important there is WHERE YOU ARE.... in morocco anyway.

there are plenty of other countries that are plenty more hostile to westerners.
