I would look for a new doctor. Gels don't work very well and they are very expensive.

But you really need to run away because he wants to treat you without ever checking your LH and FSH.

The lab sent me copies of my blood work for the last couple of years or so. I see FSH levels on a couple but I am not seeing LH. Could LH be listed under something else? I would like to see what you guys think, as I am still trying to figure all this out. I really appreciate all of your input.

Ok I got the lab to send me all of my blood work for the last couple years. What levels should I be looking for? Still trying to understand all of this before I pick up my prescription. Still waiting for my insurance to approve it but doc says that should be no problem due to the osteopenia that showed up in my spine and hip.

Just post up your results. We can help you read them.

Luteinizing Hormone is LH.

It might also be easier if you can block out the identifying info and post a picture of the lab results. Everything would be there in an easy to read format.

OK here are the results that I have. They are spread out over about 20 different pages so I couldn't post pictures but I am listing the results that I think are relevant. The only results I am not listing here are the results that I listed above.

I just read Megatrons trt article again to get a better understanding. The one time that my lh and fsh levels were checked they were not elevated so it appears that my hypogonadism is secondary.

I know you have done a lot of blood work, but itbis scattered across several years. I would recommend getting a new set of labs. You can get the Hormone Panel for Females as shown in my signature for $57. It has the labs you need
This would help confirm the Secondary Hypogonadism diagnosis. Or have your doc run the labs listed in that panel.

Ok I will do that. I will see if my doc will order them, but if he won't I will go to one of the labs you recommended. Closet lab location to me is a bout 40 minutes away but that's not too bad if he won't order them.
