I just got my self a jug of this stuff. Tastes great - does have a high fat content ( 18 grams) but the fat is supposed to be good fat.

The way I see it for me it's a good way to get some more fat in my diet since I am paronoid about fat. I know you do need fat's in your diet to help build muscle .

Anybody else use this stuff more then once?

Each serving has 8 grams of Saturated Fats... you think those are good fats? ...I think NOT!

If your looking to get more "good" fats in your diet, opt for "essential fatty acids" (eg. Flaxseed oil, Olive oil, etc.) Or a handfull of unsalted plain almonds works well too!

Saturated fats are our enemy bro, remember dat!

As far as trying this product, I've been tempted to get it... .but only when my friend can get a hookup on it for me... cuz I ain't wastin my money on shiat..lol Also, I'm cuttin gnow and it has no place in my diet with those sat. fats!

Peace & Goodluck dogg!

yeah they are good fats- 80% are in the form of MCT's that are burned for energy and not stored as fat if you are working out hard.

The days of ultra low fat products are done. Fats are needed to gain muscle and lose fat, produce the hormones that help get you bigger and stronger. Take a look at those old timers they used to work out and go eat hamburgers minus the buns and fries of course.

Whey is the way to go right after a workout or if you are cutting but if you are in the gaining muscle and strength phase a product with essential fats is the way to go.

Plus it tastes real good meaning u will keep using it. A product that you have to choke down every day wont work. You will get tired of using it.

I love the stuff...tastes great!!! And its good on a low carb diet because you still get the cal. you need from the fats. and yes, it works just fine when your cutting too.

Its by far the best tasting powder I've ever had. I use it sparingly, like a dessert of something. I have a bit left my first bottle of chocolate and just ordered some choc/peanut butter.

Can mr. zone or anyone else explain this statement? It goes against anything else I'd read/experienced on low-carb diets. My thinking is that drinking this stuff in any amount on ckd or Atkins would completely blow things for you.

i love Muscle Milk. Blueberry flavor is great, chocolate is awesome, vanilla is great, just ordered cookies and cream, rocky road and mocha joe.

It only has 12gr. of carbs in it. It fits into a low carb diet just fine. why do you think it would blow your low carb diet?

I love musclemilk, but it wasn't selling so they pulled it off most of the shelfs.

thats great cuz u can get it for like 19 bucks per tub. the reasion it wasnt selling was because they wanted like 60 bucks for it. no way is anything worth that.

I love the stuff, and you can get it online for 19bux.

CHeck out the recepie forum for some of my MuscleMilk recepies.

If you are worried about the fat content, look up info on MCT .. medium chain triglycerides.

If you're truly on a low carb diet (e.g. 20 grams of carbs), if I recall correctly, you'd be getting pretty much all your carbs on two scoops of muscle milk, right?

Of course "low carb diet" means different things to different people.

actually 50 grams of carbs is considered a low carb diet or 200 cal. from carbs if you wanted to look at it that way.

The only flavor I hated was root beer float, pretty nasty I think. I still only buy a bit of muscle milk, optimum still tastes great to me.

I have use many jugs of Muscle Milk. It was my favorite MRP but their quality is getting worse and worse. Either they are tying to cheapen up or they have very poor quality control because the difference from the earlier batches is night and day. I'm very confident they won't meet label calims if tested.
