My brother's routine

What do you guys think of this routine? My brother claims some huge guy at his gym gave it to him.

Monday: Back/Chest/Abs
Tuesday: Hamstrings/Erectors
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Triceps/Delts/Biceps/Abs
Friday: Squat/Deadlift
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off

Day 1
Pullup or Barbell Row 4 x 5
Bench Press 4 x 5
Decline bench crunches 3 x 15

Day 2
Lunges 4 x 7
Stiff legged deadlift4 x 5

Day 3
Close Grip Bench Press 4 x 5
Military Press 4 x 7
Barbell Curl 4 x 5
Swiss Ball Crunch 3 x 15

Day 4
SQUAT 5 x 5
DEADLIFT 5 x 5
 
Volume looks ok, but the grouping of exercises is counterintuitive.
 
i dont really like the idea of doing heavy back before any type of bench work..back work after bench is fine

i dont think youll make much headway squatting and deadlifting heavy for 5 sets in the same workout week in and week out

why not pull on tues???? deadlifts hit the hammies and erectors better than anything
