My Fitness Pal Calorie Accuracy

Accuracy is pretty spot on but even if it wasn't you should still be fine. If it's off by 25% constantly and you're not gaining or losing weight the adjustments you need to make are the exact same. Choose whichever calculator you prefer and stick with it

It's only as accurate as the users inputting the information.
Stuff like calories and macros is *usually* pretty OK but double check.
I've had some come up very wrong a number of times.

I noticed when I added my food log onto myfitness pal it was way under dosed so its hard to tell which one's accurate

ditto, if it's something you usually eat check it the first time. Sometimes they have doubles or triples and not each one will be correct. but like 71avido said, it only works if you put it in to the T. I mostly just use it because it saves me the math

I like the bar code scanner on my fitness pal. How could it not be accurate if you enter the data? The rest is simple math. The human in the process is the variable most likely to introduce an opportunity to degrade accuracy.
