hey guys

iv been on 150 mg / week of Test Cyp for the past year. just within the last 5 or 6 weeks my nipples have become very very sore.

Im currently taking 1mg of Anastrozole EOD and it doesn't seem to be helping at all.

on my last blood work my nipples were already starting to get sore so I informed the clinic and they said that my estrogen levels were normal and that if they continued to stay sore to come back in. at the time I was only taking the anastrozole once a week and I figured I would try the extra dosage for a couple of weeks to see if it would help but it didn't.

any suggestions? other than find another clinic?? lol

That is way too much AI. You are crashing your estradiol. You are very quickly going to feel about as bad as you have ever felt in your life. Stop taking that much.

List your most recent blood work. Let's see what your estradiol and everything else is at.

Sore nipples could be lots of things by the way.

thanks for the reply, will stop the AI for sure then. I will also post up my latest lab work as soon as I get a copy.

Hello,

It may take some time for your body to adjust to the lowing of the e2 in regards to your nipples. As Megatron suggested, it could be caused by a number of things.

If gynecomastia would appear a SERM treatment preferably tamoxifen would shrink any glandular tissue that may have swelled as it is very recent.

Daniel: you prefer Tamoxifen over Raloxifene? Any reason in particular?

I personally have found tamoxifen to work very well, so well that I haven't had to use or try raloxifene. I have gotten feedback that raloxifene works better however so I would be curious to try if I have a flare up.

I had pubertal gyno and found the SERM treatment shrunk the tissue nicely even though it wasn't obvious in the first place. Just saying that if one has that it may help to shrink some of the tissue, especially if one is on the heavier side as fat deposits across the chest coupled with gyno makes for a bad mix. Not saying it can cure gyno, but it may help to shrink existing tissue recent or even from puberty and I wouldn't claim it will help gyno from puberty but as I said personally I feel it helped. Anecdotal evidence!

It would require a knife to take the glandular tissue out but personally have found it to help for that reason. Over 50% of men have some pubertal glandular tissue.

For so called "flare-ups" the tamoxifen works great though and raloxifene I would expect to work the same or better!
