My special lady! Bronzed Goddess

why are you crammin your uncut member down her throat(dream on), its not your decision

No, it's not. I just think it's a stupid, pointless, barbaric tribal practice that should have been eliminated years ago. Trying to end the circle of violence against male babies.

If anyone thinks it's such a good idea, then I dare you to go watch while your son is being cut.

Circumcision rates in the USA are falling. Baby boomers and Gen-X births had a circumcision rate of up to 95%, but the circumcision rate in the USA is now down in the 60% range and falling. And the parents who are choosing to allow their sons to remain whole are, by and large, more affluent and well-educated. Soon, as these kids mature, the possession of a foreskin will be a status symbol.

That is the most important thing.

I'm sorry to have created a distraction, I just wanted to present the option of leaving well enough alone.

Not to agg on the battle here, BUT, this was - last I saw- the FEMME FORUM, and so coming in here and talking about some other ladies un-born child and it's foreskin-is a bit rude.
might I add- my little opinion that's not worth much- if you will- that since this is such a common practice, that most men, DO NOT CARE that their mom's so long ago chopped off stuff they dont remember having , or remember feeling- ALOT happens to that baby in one day, thats just one- do they remember? do you? do you hate your mom?
One last note. Most men dont care- in fact - they'd care a whole lot more if it wasnt cut- men are so insecure about EVERYTHING down there that not being cut just fuels their insecurity. you might be one of the few who feel this way. But the vast majority agrees - theyd rather be cut, then be laughed at later-or have women or their friends go-whats that?
if it was a 50/50 issue - like half men are cut, the other not, I wouldnt argue this point. But since MOST are. Hey I say go with majority rule here. there was a reason they came up with this ritual, other countries prbably just cant do it well enough without chance of infection.....
DB sorry- im not trying to go off. just think this argument should end. we all know our opinions now.
Good luck with your baby BG!

p.s.- sorry - Im not a moderator, not trying to be bossy,I just think some opinions-however valid- should just stay as that- an opinion.

Still pregnant y'all! Have a doctors appointment in an hour and a half, hope I'm dialated to 4 centimeters atleast. Puddles I'm gonna bottle feed. I just have no desire to breast feed, I didn't with my first and I'm not going to with this baby. I carried the baby my hubby can feed him.

His name is spelled Aidan, Vix. Aidan Jude W*** My mother in law and S-I-L keep spelling it ADEN :)

Don't worry about the thread I find it entertaining hearing everyone's opinion. Thanks y'all. I'll update after my appointment. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh my aching back!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I went to Treasure Island yesterday Puddles, the water was so warm, I had so much fun, so did Scotti.

:p :p :p Geez...and you didn't even invite me! I was workin anyway...just started back full time this week. I like the waterpark in Tampa...it's got the lazy river, a wave pool, an entirely seperate area for the little ones, a big area for everyone, some cool slides...can't wait to go again this summer! Weeki Wachi <sp> is small and nice, but the water is from underground rivers so it's icey cold, even in the middle of the summer. After Aiden's born and you're feeling up to it we'll hook up.

good luck BG!!! hope you domino soon! those last few days seem to draaaaagggg by, i've been there!

i wish i was in florida, i wanta go to the water park too

Hey TG I miss TEXAS :( I will say Florida has some beautiful beaches, with pretty green water but I still miss home.

Still only 1 damn centimeter!!!!! I'm so impatient. He'll get here when he's good and ready; then I'll be complaining about him and Scotti driving me nuts.

If I don't deliver this weekend I'll check out St. Pete Beach, we have not been there yet. I'm assuming it's all the same. Nice warm water ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i remember you were in texas, werent' you close to me when you were here? where were you? are you planning on moving back ever?

Home is Corpus Christi, but I was living in Wichita Falls before we moved out here. We are trying very hard to make it back and eventually we will, Florida is so different. This place is WAY overcrowded but not like Dallas or Houston because they don't have a large interstate system. I don't think this place was designed to have so many people living here. And the cost of living is a lot higher although the natives don't realize it.

I actually had my husband apply for a job back in Wichita Falls because there's no traffic there. He also applied for a job in San Antonio. I don't really like it there but it's 2 hours from home. Austin is my ideal city, but we can't seem to find any job openings for what my hubby does.

Blah blah blah listen to me ramble, I need to get myself a hobby. :)

I grew up in NYC the traffic here sucks even compared to NY. Especially down in Clearwater and St. Pete. Although I'm only 20 minutes from Tampa Airport, I found a community that was built in the middle of a big farmland area and I can avoid driving on 19 most of the time. Takes me 30 minutes to get my daughter to school, but that's doing 55 most of the time and only passing 5 lights. Not bad! On the way we go by pastures with cows, horses and even a farm with buffalo. It took us 15 yrs. to find this area and it's quickly being developed but it's still better than most of the Tampa Bay area. When ever you live close to the beaches, it's way crowded.

I've never been to TX...actually never been far from the east coast except for a few little trips to St. Louis and Chicago and once I took a road trip for a 3 day outdoor music festival in Alabama...that was with a friend of mine when she lived in the Panhandle. I'd like to go to Vegas and CA eventually.

Tex...don't they have water parks in TX? Someday you're gonna have to make a trip to FL and we'll spend the days with the kids at Disney and stuff...and then the nights gettin into all sorts of trouble! ;)

yeah, we have water parks, i just want to go to florida, although i'd probably not make it to a water park if i was there, i'm really a beach bum at heart

BG, i love corpus, we went there last spring, spring break actually, i felt soooo old  it was fun tho! san antonio is pretty fun, but its a long way from the beach. i like being in dallas, we're only an hour from texoma, which is a huge lake, but still close to the city. i grew up in a super small town, so i love everything about the city, even the traffic doesnt bother me. plus dallas is really pushing the DART train system, so its getting easier to get around town.

They have Schliterbaun (sp) in New Braunsfels, but that's a little ways away from Dallas. And I think there is a Water Park next to Six Flags in Arlington, but I've never been. TG if you get a chance there is a Schliterbaun in South Padre Island. I hear it's great.

We live right off of Highway 19 and Haines Bayshore puddles so there's no excaping the traffic. My OB/GYN is maybe 5 miles away but we have to leave 30 minutes early because it's in downtown clearwater and they have a million and one stop lights.

You still here, BG? I was hoping to read you had the baby last night...;-)

Aidan..Love the name you picked out! I thought we had picked out an uncommon name for Brianna...We've met three lil girl's with the same name..Go figure!

I can not relate to a natty birth..Bri was C-section. Although, I can recall walking many a mile with my best friend when she was sitting at 2 and 3 centimeters! Walk the beach and it'll get things goin. Well...we can hope, right?

Hope you have an easy time in the del. room and hospital!

I pray you have a good nurse too. I had a nurse "Ratchet" during my stay. She would not feed me til I took a shit. How the hell are ya suppose to shit when ya have not had anything to eat for God's sake? Made no sense to me! I finally told her I shit( I lied of course) I wanted to wrap up my "get to go home shit" for her when I left too. Damn, she was a mean nurse!

Poor vix, I would have slapped her probably. I have a mean streak. Well I hear the second one is a lot easier than the first one so I'm wish for the best. Am I the only one on this board with more than one kid? And y'all all have Girls!!! I'm the boy producing factory :) Well actually I guess my hubby is ;)

Tex...you or you and your family are welcome to stay with us anytime! We're about 45 minutes from Clearwater beach, 30 minutes from a little quiet beach, and about 1.5 hrs. from Orlando.

BG...Yeah...where you're at it's beyond crowded and the streets are narrow! When the area was originally built up in the 40's/50's it was designed to be a vacation area with lots of little bungalos and they certainly didn't plan on people living here year round. My daughter's pediatrition is down near ya and it's a pain to deal with the insane traffic, construction, and narrow streets. Glad I don't have to do it often!

Nurse Ratchett! LOL I did 18 hrs. of induced labor w/o pain meds, but I wasn't dialating, so I finally opted for an eppidural...within a minute I went from 1 cm to 7. My daughter was born within 15 minutes of the eppidural. I had a cool delivery room...I'd brought a video of a Pink Floyd concert and just let that keep playing for most of the time. I kinda zoned out into a trance for about 12 hrs. and never made a sound until after the baby was born.

Trust me...I have a mean streak when you do not feed me for over 16 hours! hehehe

You and your hubby produced a cute/healthy lil boy, Scotti...I'm sure Aidan will be just as beautiful and healthy. You can try again for a lil girl. You may slap me now...lol

So...WE ALL NEED TO HAVE THE GAME: GUESS THE DATE AND WEIGHT NOW!!!!!

My guess:Day- 5/24 -Aidan willl be 7lbs. 6 ozs. and 20 inches long!
