A week ago I went to see the docter becasue I was having extreme pain while urinating.
The doc says he's 99% sure its either clap or gonorrhea so he treats me for both with single dose anti-biotics and tells me I'll be fine in 24 hrs.
5 days later I'm still crying when I go to the bathroom, so I head back to the hospital to get re-diagnosed.
Standard urinary tract infections are very rare in men, especially young ones. But aparently this is what I have.
I read an article in bodybuilding.com on Epididymitis. It says that if you drink a lot of water while working out and don't urinate regularly you are at risk of an infection. The pressure exerted on your bladder via straining is likely to push urine up the vas deferens, and if theres any bacteria in the urine then you get a UTI.
My bodyweight fluctuates by about 10 lbs over the course of my workout due to the water I injest. And I very, very seldom interrupt my workout to urinate. So this is what I believe caused my situation.
Was wondering if any of you fellas have had any experience with this?
