as the title says, where is the cheapest place to buy N-Large 2 protien powder? Online or off, doesnt matter.......

any help appreciated

dpsnutrition.com was them for $35. Sometimes you can get them at Vitamin World on sale for 35 as well, and you can save on the shipping.

i cant stand the taste of that stuff but if you are definilty gonna take it, use the vanilla, its the best out of all the flavors.

thanks vigilance, I'll check them out...

well I myself like the vanilla, not bad at all but I just went and bought the chocolate and OMG!!!!! that is the most clumpy, no-mixing, crap tasting powder I've ever tried and I'll never buy it again.

but hey, it's hard to beat the 52g of protien per serving :wink2:

I get the chocolate and it always mixes fine. Are you sure you're using enough water?

There are 52grams of protein, but it also has a ton of carbs, which is mostly sugar. I only use it before and after workouts.

maybe I have a bad batch of the chocolate? I have tried it with water and skim milk but lumpy lumpy lumpy (of course I'm talking spoon stirred here) I also used a blender and it turned to foam from the zillions of air bubbles. It does not mix like my vanilla did in any way......odd

yes I only take it before/after workout too

There is nothing special about NLarge. It's just a bunch of concentrate with a bunch of maltodextrin and some cocoa. YES it is very difficult to mix.

You can easily make your own NLarge replication. Very easy to do and will be a whole lot cheaper as well.

I've never tried mixing it with a spoon. You should look into getting a hand blender, it doesn't make your shake foamy like a regular blender. Its one of the best purchases I've ever made.

any recommendations on protien powder thats better overall than nlarge2? something that is somewhat decent tasting, high protien content, easy to mix, low sugars?

I'd rather just buy it premade - I'm lazy :laugh3:

Such as what?

NLarge... whey concentrate, maltodextrin, fructose, cocoa, soy lechithin.

Nothing fancy about those ingredients, and readily available as well.

I never said there was anything fancy about it. But NLarge2 is $35 for 10lbs. Where are you going to get all of those ingredients for $3.50/lb?

$35 for 10 lbs of NLarge is a pretty good price, but you can get all those ingredients for cheaper. It's just a matter of getting the protein really. Maltodextrin/dextrose you can find just about anywhere for cheap. I won't pump my site because then I come off sounding like a handle, but just keep looking and you will find a protein supplier for cheap.

My gym sells something called Muscle Juice...10.5lbs for $30...55g of protein...try that?

nutri sport sells a protein powder called problend 55 its low on sugars and its a time release protein it does good for me
