Need feedback on my diet.

I just started lifting again and need to know if this diet that I got from a personal trainer is good for me. I am 24, 5'11 and weigh 172lbs. I am at about 18% body fat and am trying to bulk up a little more and lose the fat from the torso region. Heres my diet:

Breakfast: 6 egg whites, cup of oatmeal, scoop of protein (2 CLA, 2 lean-out)

2.5 hours later: shake consists of 2 protein blends, carbohit and glutamine

Lunch: one lean protein, one cup complex carbs, cup of vegetables(2 CLA, 2 lean-out)

2.5 hours later: shake consists of 2 protein blends, carbohit and glutamine

Dinner: one lean protein, one cup complex carbs, cup of vegetables(2 CLA, 2 lean-out)

Workout

After workout: shake with blend of proteins and half a scoop carbohit.

Is this more for building up muscle or to get lean? I need more fat loss/cuts than building mass.
 
overall it looks very healthy. i dont think he intended to give you a bulker or a cutter just a basic meal plan so that you have somewhere to start.
 
you need to decide whether you want to bulk up or lose the body fat. You can do both at the same time but its harder work. Increase the cals if you decide to bulk, if not lower the cals and get some healthy fats in the diet.
