Just curious whats the max protein my body can have in 1 shake without the protein going to waste and how long do i have to wait to drink my second shake after i drink the first 1? Thanks
1. Depends what type of protein you are using. If I use Whey Isolate Ion-Exchange I can drink well over 100grams per shake without any problem. If I take in a lower quality Whey Protein I get bloated, gassy, and sometimes the runs with over 50grams.
2. Shakes should only be used as a supplement. Get the majority of your protein grams from SOLID food!!!

Yea i eat well i jus love to drink a shake before an after work out so basicly i drink a shake work out for 2 hours and drink another 1. ummmm i use the best selling protein of 1fast400 an it says its a " superior blend of whey " that means i can make shakes at 100grams a shake and my body will fully break down all of the 100 grasm of protein? Thanks for the info
how much i weigh? or Diesel5555? I currently weight around 195 lbs and I have been gaining like im on cycle because of the insanely high amounts of protein i try to get.
when im on cycle i will probably try to double this.
like i said above: TRY to get it in, if you cant get all 400g's your still getting enough.
always strive to accomplish MORE than your goals, and you will NEVER fail.
Try and get most of your protein from solid foods. Shakes are great, but keep in mind they are supplements. I have a shake in the am, shake before workout and shake after workout (usually 20-40gr per shake...average shake is 30g for me) found that the benefits of 30-40 are about the same for me, so just went down to about 30g per shake cuz it saves some $$ and the extra $$ i don't spend on protein powder goes for more meat, eggs, stuff like that. U'll get far more benefits from whole foods, but keep doing shakes also...just don't try and live off them.
