Study tracks symptoms in men as testosterone levels decline

Here's the 2 items I found most interesting:

"Testosterone levels had to be extremely low, however, before erectile dysfunction appeared. But if estrogen production declined, that had an effect on sexual function regardless of how much testosterone the man was producing."

"When estrogen production was blocked, there was an increase in body fat regardless of how much testosterone was in the blood. When it was not blocked, only a mild reduction in testosterone was enough to increase body fat."

The 2nd statement doesn't make sense. When estrogen production is blocked, how can body fat increase????

You need *some* estrogen for proper metabolic function. This piece is chock full of propaganda and exaggeration; sad given how many men are affected by low testosterone.

Testosterone levels also had to be very low before the researchers saw declines in leg strength, the size of the thigh muscle and lean body mass.
I do wish that one guy that spouted off about how atrophy isn't possible due to low testosterone was here still. I'd tell him to EAT IT.

Anyhoo, while I don't like how we're starting to be bombarded with ads for roll-on testosterone crap - I like the fact that people are stating testosterone deficiency is A-OK and should happen to men even less. So when women experience menopause, doctors should tell them "tough shit, no hormone replacement for you!" as it's perfectly natural to grow a mustache and have painful intercourse?

Man, the negative stigma given to AAS just keeps messing with real science. Drives me nuts!

I don't know. Probably not. I don't have the full version of adobe where I can edit the files. Beside it would probably still be too big. I'll have to play around with it to find a way.
