Greetings everyone,
I am 34 years old. Been lifting since I was 15. 6'0 tall 243lbs @ approx 18%bf. I have been accused of using help all my life because of my size and build. At this point in the game I said screw it. My goal is to trim the fat without gaining much size. My xxl scrubs already fit snug. Lol. Looking for the definition. Several of my friends and colleagues use with the goal of trying to get big. I am not in their crowd. They cannot understand why I am not looking for size. I have researched and read only to become overwhelmed and confused. Please help me with a beginner cycle. I value my hair so that does play a big factor in my planning. Diet will be spot on upon starting my cycle. In the past I have been able to establish meals plans to give my goals. Seems that age is now effecting the effectiveness. Looking for that boost. My wife recently had my second child and I have now started the gym again for the past 2 months after about 6 off. I'm back to pressing the 120lb dumbbells @ 4 sets of 10-12. The guns are still there at 20 inches. Please help on my adventure. I am clueless to this aspect of training.
