New year resolutions, ambitions, what's yours?

Hey everyone, so I am curious. What's everyone's plans for the new year? Any ambitions? Resolutions?

For me..... I have never even considered competing or walking out on stage, I have always trained for the look and feel, however I have been putting a lot of thought into competing. So next year I will be concentrating on getting in shape to compete, I am not saying I will compete next year for sure, who knows. I know it's a long hard road. Not gonna rush..... Plus I will be competing to win. Not just place. Give my young son something to look up to and hopefully get him into the iron when he is old enough,

Anyone else? Can be anything. Doesn't have to be training related. Fizzy drinks. Smoking?

go injury free.

the last three years trying to train I've had multiple injuries, illnesses and 2 surgeries. My goal when starting out, coming from being a cardio/endurance based athlete, to weight training, was to gain 1/3 my body weight in muscle. I get close and then some shit comes up and I'm hurt or something and I've got to recover and start all over again.

so yeah, one full injury free year of training and get back to my original goal.

marry my gf and buy a house/property.

sydney property prices are sky high...

In the operating room a couple times myself this last year. It would be freakin' nice to actually have an uninterrupted year of training!

i have been lucky as far as injury's go, when i was 23 i tore my meniscus cartledge in my right knee.
i remember the 'pop' was mid set on deadlifts. anyway, it didnt really bother me, the odd twinge now and again, over the period of 2 years i went to my GP many times about it, they gave me xrays and so on, always telling me it was soft tissue damage. until i finally got an MRI.... had surgery to trim back the tear. was out of the gym for 3 months while i healed. since then i have been injury free thank god. but i am getting older now, one is soon to show up. although i will be trying to avoid injury's for aslong as i can,

I've come to terms with it's not about how much weight I'm moving but in the form of how I'm doing it. I've since made better gains with less time training. I would like to stick to training without any major setbacks. Get a better grip on diet too.
