Novaman's TRT Journal- The Journey has begun

You started shots one day ago... Don't start wondering where the benefits are. And once you do start to feel them, if even, get ready for them dissappear as you drop lower than pre-trt because of your miniscule doses.

I was figuring that since I've already been on the gel for 3 months I should already be well into the time frame where I should see great benefits from the Test shot. Actually these past 2 days have been quite good.

Ya that's a good one. An Endo once told me "hey you can take 70 mg/week of T". My levels were 1277 on 700 mg/month of Test. He proposed to take me down to 280 mg a month (70 mg x 4 weeks ).
I didn't bite.

with all that can be learned from this board and other on the internet, as long as I've taken the time to educate myself, it seems to me that Royal Men's could be a viable option, don't you think?

I can say from experience that it is a viable option :)

So I've decided to pursue things with Royal Men's and will be getting a blood test tomorrow AM. I discussed things with my wife and she is all for self adjusting my protocol to be more in line with normal protocols- so I plan on going to the every 3.5 day cycle of 50 mg test per dose. I will do this until RM sets up a new protocol for me.

I will be interested in seeing what they put you on. They seemed like they just have a generic protocol they put everyone on no matter what your levels are.

I had forgotten just how lousy I had felt before going on the gel back in August. Yesterday was a rude reminder. Yesterday I was 6 days in from my single 100 mg dose of Test and I crashed in the afternoon. By dinner I could barely stay awake. I woke up this morning feeling not so great. I went and got my blood test and then came back and gave myself 50 mg of Test. I will give myself another 50 mg dose in 3.5 days and will continue until I get a protocol from Royal Men's.

I've been approved for treatment by one of these online companies. The Doc did spend a decent amount of time on the phone consult. He wanted to start me at: 200mg of Testosterone Cypionate per week (1cc per week), 1000 IUs of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin per week (.5cc twice per week), and 2mg of Anastrozole per week (1mg twice per week).

I thought this was too much right out of the gate so he agreed to switch me to:

100 mg test Cyp per week, 1000 IUs HCG (.5 cc 2x week)

This sound like a reasonable starting point?

I injected 100 mg Test Cyp 4 days ago yet still feel tired and lethargic. I'm hoping the HCG is going to make a difference once I start the new protocol

Too much Anastrozole! Reduce that by half at least for a starting dose.

Thanks. Yeah I'm thinking of starting at .25 mg 2x a week. So does that sound like a reasonable protocol? I'm a bit antsy about everything. I'm still lethargic now and the libido is not great although I can perform. Just praying that HCG is the missing ingredient

TBH I missed the part where you're going down to 100mg/week when I suggested half.

On 100mg/week I'd start with no AI and bring it online slowly only after testing shows that it's needed. With that approach at least there is a good chance that you'll pass through the "sweet spot" of T to E2 ratio even if you eventually overshoot it and have to bring E2 down a little.

If you start with too much AI, you may crash E2 out of the gate and not experience the "sweet spot" at all.

Started my new protocol today. Did 100 mg Test Cyp, 500 IU HCG. No AI (although I didn't tell my doc yet!).

will inject another 500 IU HCG in 3.5 days.

So how long should it take for me to feel the effects of HCG??

Others might disagree, but I don't feel any immediate effects from hcg. I skip it when I'm traveling and I can't feel a difference.

Wow that's disappointing to hear. So far in my journey with TRT I have yet to feel like it is working really well. I'm hoping the HCG is the missing ingredient.

Logging in to say TODAY I FEEL GREAT!! I'm 11 days into the addition of HCG to my protocol, 500 Iu every 3.5 days. This in addition to 100 mg Test Cyp 1x a week. Last week I was still lethargic but the horniness kicked in pretty quickly. Beginning of this week I was still dragging energy-wise so on wednesday night I gave myself a booster of 50 mg Test Cyp. This was on top of the 100 mg I gave myself on Sunday. Yesterday (Thursday) I still felt crappy but today is a great day!!

I'm hoping the Hcg was the missing ingredient for me and this is the beginning of a new era for me. I've noticed the high that I get post exercise is more pronounced and longer lasting. I'm also hornier- much hornier. The wife and I have been doing the nasty every other day, and my orgasms are feeling much better on the Hcg.... and didn't notice the post sex brain funk that I usually get this last time around!

I was reprimanded by my doc for not following his protocol as directed. So for 3 weeks I've been injecting 200 mg test cup 1x a week along with 500 Iu HCG 2x a week and 1 mg anastrozole 2x a week. These past 2 days I've felt super fatigued. I've also been jet lagged so my sleep has been irregular. I'm wondering if it's the sleep or could it be my estradiol levels crashing.

Any thoughts?

Any headache or sore joints?

Any headache or sore joints?

No. No headache nor sore joints- well maybe my knees are sore but I attribute that to playing sports the other day.

The wife says I've been very moody lately on top of the extreme tiredness and has complained that the meds aren't working and if anything else is making me worse.
