% of Max for reps

I was wondering what the common numbers are for using your max to determine (around) what weight to rep. For example: max = 260 so 90% for reps of 3, or 80% for reps of 6?????
I plan on doing some jumping around and couldnt remember the "formula"

bear in mind that this is just a generic starting point and different folks get different results. some fatigue faster thanothers.

it doesnt post the reps. search the web and youll find what you are looking for.

135 is 135x1, moooooooove your finger, the one with a bugar on it or not whatever ;) to the right, that is 2 reps all the way to 10 reps.

Make sense now?

Pick your weight on the FAR LEFT, moooooooooove to the right.

Now between sets I know depending on my rest period I will lose around say 6-10 pounds off my bench for my second set, so I look around for something dead close to that number for the approximate number of reps I want. Then drag your bugar coated finger to the LEFT COLUMN and look at what the weight is.

WEIGHT ON THE LEFT, REPS TO THE IMMEDIATE RIGHT, 2 through 10.

If I do 315x10 on a movement that is about a 410 max according to this chart, which for me is quite accurate. If I use an oddball weight for xx reps, I use the MAXCALC link which you will see in my signature.
