MR. SHOULDERS
I like to enjoy my shakes rather then gulp them down, have any of you guys tried new Optimum nutrition whey (cookies n creme) whey? I usually get chocalate optimum nutrition whey, but am starting to hate the taste. How does it taste?

Hey millyman where did you buy the cookies n creme optimum whey in the bag? I couldn't find it in the 10lb. bag only the 5 lb tub. Any online store you could reccommend?

I use ON chocolate. Lots of it.

I had to gag down the ON vanilla and choc mint. I considered trying one of the new flavors, but I found too many people that said they were awful. Similar situation with the choc mint. Some people like it, but many hate it. The choc mint smelled great, but the taste....

The strawberry ON isn't half bad. First time I tried it, it tasted like shit, but now its not too shabby.

the best thing about vanilla is you can start with vanilla and add ingredients to get any flavor you want . some people use crystal light or any similar fruit flavor with little or no calories to spice up their vanilla shakes .

I've found that using your blender makes a world of difference. It's the difference between drinking chocolate water and a chocolate shake. 2 scoops whey , 2 oz water, 5-6 ice cubes in a blender. PWO with the added dextrose and malto.....OMG!!!!!!!!! I almost lost control

I'm a big fan of the rocky road and powdered milk mixed together and bagged up for taking to work. The strawberry also blends well with my grape juice PWO; much better than the fruit punch does.

I usually love Vanilla, but ON Vanilla is called something like 'Vanilla Ice Cream' and it was just so bad...

It is often known as Ace K. It isn't as good as Sucralose (splenda) but when mixed with the right ingredients, it can be damn near close to the taste of sugar. It is used is quite a few things nowadays, but perhaps since it isn't also a "well known" tabletop sweetner, many people don't realize it exists.

For example, Coke Zero uses Ace K and Aspartame. The combination of the two produces a more sugar-like taste than each of the two can seperately.

Ace K apparently has an aftertaste, but something in ON choc seems to cover that up.
