Aloha guys! I've been interested in research regarding steroid use and its cause of cardiovascular diseases. If anyone has had past experiences with the use of steroids, or would like to state their opinion regarding this topic if it does affect the heart, I would really appreciate it! :)

I did 1 cycle basically 10 years ago. I've read forums and various research material for probably 12-14 years off and on. I think AAS and their side effects do have cardiovascular effects. But I also believe they are tied to lifestyles that also effect our cardiovascular system.

If a person has ran 10 cycles over 8-10 years and gained 100lbs there is the steroid usage, diet, training and simply having 100lbs of extra mass. The heart is a muscle. Steroids build muscle. Exercise excercises the heart. I think there would be some effect on it.

I trained very hard for boxing and kick boxing as a kid. Cardio and endurance till I almost puked. I always has a "lower" resting heart rate and amazing blood pressure. Without anything training alone changed my bodies operations so that I had a very efficient cardio respiratory system.

After interval sprint heart beat beats are different than after a heavy bench heart beats. Running it would be fast and hard. . Haha . . . Post benching it is not as fast but booming in my chest.

Based off the red face people get lifting I think it probably raises blood pressure during the lift pretty good amount.
