Please review my cycle, down to the last detail!

He went as far to say when and casein is the same, just before insulting our board. I do not agree, BUT I do feel debate is absolutely essential for a healthy research site. That being said, I did try to look things up about the topic but I keep drawing the same conclusion. If you go to sleep and you drank whey its gone in an hour. You will then sleep for 5-8 more hours w/o the ingredients to keep building muscle.

Protein may indeed be protein, but the absorbtion rate plays a major role. THIS is why we use whey PWO and not something else.

Absorption does play a major role, and I do agree he was a little ignorant towards a board he is benefiting from.

However, there's plenty of research out there that debunks nutrient timing and source. Whether your protein source is steak or whey protein isolate, is not going to matter as long as your total nutrients for the day are consumed. The post workout window is a myth. Intermittent fasting is looked at by many as the nail in the coffin for nutrient timing.

Thread starter:

16 weeks is great i feel the extra couple weeks really IS worth it. i rec 14-16 weeks to people myself.
also Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) over use (duration or dose wise(mostly dose wise it seems) might cause a bad long term affect on your testicle's and is why i only rec it at the end of cycle leading upto BUT NOT into PCT for most people.
500iu 2X a week for last 4-5 weeks at 500iu 2X a week and your good.

As far as over use goes, what would you say is too long for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG)? I've seen some vets say for every say 7 weeks on use 1 week off to avoid desensitization.

I agree with this!
why?
I don't eat meat at ALL and get 70-80% of my protein from shakes (i get 200-300g ed depending). and guess what? Im the biggest in my BIG family and they all eat meat. and although i feel i got a long ways to go for my size. i have put on alot of muscle this last few years.
just goes to show you its knowledge that matters, NOT what others tell you is right. think for your self, do your research and try out what works for YOU. :-)

It drives me F-ing CRAZTY when i see people post things like "you need real food not powders", "powders are a wast and only to be used post workout", "drinks are a waste" and so on.
im a living study that that is wrong.
and funny thing is half the people saying it with all their judgement.... look like crap and are not in a bodybuilding shape from pics i have seen. just adds to the LOL for me...

depends on dose. if you are going super low like 150-250iu 1-3X a week , people seem to use it like this for a whole cycle (or months on hrt for ball size, but for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), it dosent really matter at that point) and seem to be ok.

for me i would take more then just 1 week off if it where me.
every 5-7 weeks take a few off. (if you cruse and are doing this for nut size and plan to get off sometime.)
otherwise i rec it as i always have , only at the end of a cycle for 4-5 weeks leading up to but NOT into PCT.

their is not concrete data on this though. but alot of feed back and studies to suggest in my op that taking HCG long term is a bad idea.

That's what it's all about, personal experimentation. People blindly preach the stupidest shit I've seen on the net just because some bird told them it was the best way. For me, when I was contest dieting I tried all kinds of shit to see what made a difference. And to be honest, not a whole lot as long as my daily totals were spot on. I actually had my best results eating a cup of oats immediately pre-bed lol.

Thank you very much, as a young member to the boards I look forward to vets such as yourself providing some insight for newer guys like me.

I just want to add to those who dont know, that Fiber and Probiotics are supposed to help keep protein around longer for use...

Also I think alot of people dont like the powders because well, its not really food and it doesn't have an actual nutritional value. I can tell when I used protein in the morning right away I don't get as hungry during the day. I got fired today and for example I've only ate 3 mc chickens with out mayo... Thats it. I weigh 255lbs and I ate 3 fucking little sandwhiches I hate myself I wish I had cash I would have shitted out a proper meal tomorrow.

Personally I think anything over 1g per lb puts stress on the kidneys So i would def not consume say 300g of protein daily if I weigh 250lbs for a long period of time. But what Do i know...

Fibre will slow digestion a little, thats about it.

And your very wrong, just because it's powder doesn't mean it doesn't have nutritional value. If it didn't it would be useless, even flour has nutritional value...

As far as protein requirements, it depends on cutting/bulking. Of course being on cycle your body could utilize more protein, but naturally I stick to the 1g/lb rule.

Yeah I didn't state that right. It has nutritional value no doubt but even if it had the carbs protein fibre and vit and min that a meal should have its not recommended to replace the majority of your nutrients with a shake, well not for a long time. But really I see nothing wrong with getting protein from powder be it plant or animal based protein. I do want to point out that eating over 8oz of red meat I think it was daily increases risks of colon cancer . So maybe taking protein from powder could help minimise the risk.

I seen a documentary about a guy that fast eating only juiced fruits and veggies and he loses a boat load of fat and cures himself of a rare disease its on HULU or NETFLIX pretty dope.

Whoa! Sweet. That would make life alot easier for me LOL. I would hope so, Then I wont have to down my food before I go training or when we are out of food down yogurts LOL or cook long taking chickens before bed. I do here alot on the forums like "Real Food Real Food" Its actaully all I hear. It would be much easier to substitute real food for a shake or a bar sometimes.
