recreational lifter, although i've been doing it for years and take it very seriously. no plans for doing shows or comps. (though that may change, i'm still young)
 
Hardcore Trainer: I want to be as big as I can possibly be with as low of bodyfat as I can possibly be, but I will 99.9% sure never compete, mainly because I will never be happy enough with my body to show it off. Muscle Dysmorphia (big-orexia) is a bitch.
 
i call my self a powerlifter but double back surgery has nipped that in the bud but i still train with powerlifters as much as possible
 
I am not a hardcore trainer, because I have other interests and pursue them to a high degree also. But i think i am little more dedicated than casual weightlifter.
 
I guess I'm more of a casual weight lifter. Just want to look good, and get stronger.
 
I don't know how to answer this one....lol
I wouldn't say I'm a bodybuilder...lol...I just don't have the genetics for that. I am more into the fitness look than anything. But I also train in mma so the training for that is I'd say a little more hardcore.
I guess I'm a little bit of everything.....lol

Same here, but i'm trying to body build.. I just want to look great.. and have that extra strength ofcourse

I havn't really lifted in years since I dove back into it months ago.I would consider myself more concerned about my max lift .But the look is important too!
 
tough to answer like a few peeps said... i am into it more then the mon wed fri workout groupies, but my goals arent to be BB, or powerhouse or anything... i put BB is my type because i am building mybody to be better then it currently is. not BB in the typical sence
