I seen on tv that they only have 100 cal per serving so decided to see what they had. I'm eating the chicken and rice one right now and its real good. This may help for the people who need a quick fill with low cal. It has a decent amount of chicken in there with rice, carrots, tomatoes and onions i think.

make homemade soup-it is cheaper, more nutritious and not just a bowl of hot salt water with a grease slick on top.

so the progesso chicken noodle has 100 cal and 2g of total fat, 0 trans fat, .5 sat fat, 6g of protein, 14g of carbs. Only prob is the sodium is high...950mg. 1 serving is 9.5 ounces or 237g.

I understand making your own soup maybe better, but for some people thats just not gonna happen...at least for me it cant...i dont have the time or the skillz.

You know what they say about excuses-if you really want to eat healthy then you will learn to cook. Otherwise be happy with a typical doughy american body.

not a flame bro. not at all.

here do this experiment for yourself sometime soon. stop eating all foods high in salt, no sodas, no fast food, nothing processed (as much as poss) for 3 months.

then add some fast food back into your diet along with sodas and some processed foods like the soup you speak of.

at that time you will see and feel what the crap in our diets does to us.

Thanks tman I am not originally from this country and I am appalled at the the stuff that passes as food in our grocery stores. Most of these horribly processed foods are too high in salt, sugar, fats from things I would never eat, and the vegetables in American stores are barely edible, although they are often beautiful. Making homemade soup is possibly one of the easiest things anyone could cook. I cannot believe how much people do not understand that eating is a pleasure not simply a way to feed oneself. I love to cook so I am biased about this but I think we need to slow down and enjoy ourselves at the table, it is much healthier. The simple rule to healthy eating is .....the less processed it is the better it is for you. Why eat food made in a factory.
