Your body can't just pass the protein without digesting it unless you wrap it in a plastic bag first or have some severe problems. Don't worry too much about it.
I think what he's asking is how much can be assimilated for muscle growth... Then I think it goes back to cubanjoes answer. Amount of muscle and many different hormonal factors.
