protein intake

i am really trying to fine tune my diet to lose my last 10 pounds.
Iam carb cycling, question i had was when you guys set your protein intake do you calculate protein intake x's overall body weight or just your lean body mass .

167 lbm x 1.5 = 250grams

194 my total body weight xs 1.5 = 291grams

is the difference of 164 calories xtra a day or 1148 extra a week worth any concern. or should i keep the extra 164 calories from protein and cut 164 from carbs,, my goal is fatloss
cool thats what i am looking for i need to be point on to reach my goal and figured i was adding extra calories and wasting protein. thanks
