Protein when cutting fat %

I've been mentally hung up on something in the diet aspect, protein intake per LBM while at a real caloric deficit.

Common consensus is " 1.5g per LBM " or just total body weight for that matter.
So if you weigh 170 pounds in total, that's 255g of protein a day. That's a lot in general, but doable.

* Here's where I'm stuck, when you're at say, a 1300 calorie daily intake for losing 1lbs per week, how is it physically possible to intake that much protein through food? *:dunno:



My TDEE is 1790 calories on a normal day with my occupation in example. I realize 1300 is nearly starving but that's what it takes for me to lose weight currently.
