best protein to use imo is isolate or casein,but concentrate is o.k also.
if youre looking to bulk then its calories and carbs you should be looking at really.Dont try to eat TOO clean.
Yes,gainers are good-(if you cant do it with solid food).They give you all the extra calories,protein,carbs etc that you cant consume normally.If you can eat your way through 3-400g of proteins,500g carbs and around 5-6000 cals(depending on your body weight and training regime)...then there is no need for supplements.
