i talked to someone who from the looks of him, knows what he is talkin about. he said if i want to git cut to say to hell with cardio, and just to right(6 meals a day)

solid meal in the morning

protien shake around 10:30

solid lunch

protien shake after workout, bout 4:30-5:00

solid dinner

shake before bed

now, is this a good plan or is this guy just an asshole? he works at the fitness essentials store

i am 5'11 180 max bench 260 dont douch scwats

5'11 and 180lbs Doesn't sound like you really need to do any cutting.

You don't squat.... Why?

If you are going to cut I would focus on solid food and only use protein shakes when it isn't practical do eat a solid meal.

i have gained an immense amount of muscle, strength, and a little body fat since coming up from about 155, and just really want to achieve a more defined stomach and overall body, also want to add shape to muscles.

I think you have to do cardio. Maybe this guy has a high metabolism and he personally can get away without cardio.

Man squats dont effect your waist line as much as people want you to think, deadlifts are meant to be the real culprit and pesonally I think even deadlifts dont thicken your waist that much, weighted ab exercised would be the culprit for a thick waist.

tahnyou nope, for being the only one to actually answer my QUESTION, dicks

Eat it or Beat it!!! said:
u dont squat cos ur a pussy...no offense at all but its usually the squat that is the difference between being a man and being a sissy boy

And thats the attitude that can get your hurt - Do you know this guys physical makeup, how much his lower back comes into play. ECT - I could name off several Professionals that don't squat and have excellent legs.

Now is this the case with him? I don't know, but saying that a guy that doesn't squat is a pussy is plain lame.

As for my opinon - Get away from the shakes - 1x / day is all i would have a client using while cutting. Its easier to trust whole foods and how much macro's they have. Supplements can be way to inconsistent.

i am in the same shoes as this guy... march last year, i was 145lbs.. i'm now 197lbs at 5'10. i dont do squats 'cos i have an injured lower back. I'm hoping to be somewhere around 210lbs by early april. I am holding some fat around my stomach and I do have some size but I want some definition. Calipers at my gym put me at about 14% bf.. If i can hit 210lbs by april, i want to cut down my fat and retain muscle. I'm really not looking to go under 195lbs. When I start cutting, what should my diet and training routine look like?

thanks dirkmoneyshot for that defense back there and the advice, and chidoks you sound like you have the same deal as me, i come off a bull last year and got kicked sqaure in my honches so im weary bout my back, and eatitorbeatit-(not talkin shit on the internet), but if you think im a pussy you outta try ridin bulls for a living
