Actually I don't know from personal experience as I went straight to glass. But 8 is the lowest psi I have heard problems with and that's freaking low. Glass is cheap its a no brainer
It depends on how hot the solution is when you try to filter it. If its cool, the plastic will hold 25 inches of vac. Not psi. I have had them crack at 10, but its because i was trying to filter solution over 170 degrees F.
Thanks for the clarification on that Hijacked....I have always used the glass media bottles bc of the issues with cracking and they are pretty cheap. Filtering over 150F is really not good bc it can melt the filter. That is the voice of experience unfortunately.
