Hello,
Am I pinning in around the right area? One member told me to go a little lower (toward the hamstring)

I have a little bruise and minimal pain but it was also my first injection ever.

I normally dont go down on the side that much.....thats what the ol'lady told me to do, shes a nurse so i trust her

When you say higher do you mean more to the top side of the quad or higher up towards my hip?

I go up more toward my hip too. Maybe 8 inches down from hip bone. but I am 6'5 so it's relative. LOL

LoL - good info. i go even lower than that...seemed to work fine for me with my ED pins i was doing rotated between, quads, shoulder and ass!
i'll have to look into aiming a bit higher next time. actually i'll do a B12 shot today to see how a little higher goes.

Have you considered ventrogluteal injections. It is a great spot...less nerves and vessels. I usually stick a small ice pack in my waistband while loading the syringe. Ive never had pain...hit a nerve or a vessel after hundreds of injections.
