Quad injections with 1/2" 27 gauge?

Ok so instead of giving you a hour long story on why i have 1/2" 27 gauge pins i'll just cut to the chase.

This is my 1st cycle and SINCE i started 3 weeks ago with a 1/2" 27 gauge i'm use to it lol, yea i sound like a bitch but why go 1" if not needed. Which is basically my question here, does anyone use 1/2" in the quads? My bodyfat isn't super low at all, probably 14-15% but my legs don't carry much of it. It does take an obviously long time to inject cause of the gauge but i'm in no rush.

My main concern is, if the needle wasn't long enough wouldn't the test oil form like a lump if it was in the fat and not the muscle? I have zero signs of bruising, lumps, swelling etc...other then a pressure pain that lasts maybe a day but lately has gotten less and less painful with each injection.

All in all, if i wasn't in the muscle i would notice right?

I've only had oil stay subq once and that was in my glutes. It was a lump that was hard to the touch and went away after about a week. You should feel a slight resistance as you pierce the muscle fascia and very well could be making it into the muscle. I would still pick up some 1" pins just to be sure next time you go shopping so you can get that oil into the muscle belly. This is supposed to aid with absorption and allows you to inject a higher volume of oil with less complications.

My .02c :)

i dont like short pins. im with the old train of thought on getting deep into the muscle. there are some guys running sq test injects though that are prescribed that way. it sounds iffy to me. i wont do it.

I pinned with a 1/2 once with no lump, but really better off with the 1in.

I've heard if the oil gets in the fat it takes longer to get absorbed.

Half ince would work fine in the quads but you would need to push it in the leg as far as you absolutely can.

Dude I use 1 1/2" 23gauge and I go deep to make sure it goes In there. When I do delts I leave less than half inch of needle exposed. I also never lose gear when pulling out

I have never lost any gear when pulling out and i go as deep as possible. It seems to be working fine but then again couldn't be 100% sure. No signs that it isn't working correctly like i said no lumps no loss no swelling nothing.

I wouldn't even try it, if you don't hit the muscle the gear can float around and you can end up with a swollen knee, just be safe and use 1 in, my quads our very lean and I can get away with 1/2 probably. but I still wouldn't take the chance

I've felt a prolonged pain difference not going deep enough. I'm using 27g 1 1/4" and go in about an inch. Any less my leg hurts for about 4 days.

Lol @ Dennis. Honestly, I have been using 29g 1/2 needles for IM injections over a year now and have been fine. I mean, if you have a lot of flab on your quad, you might want to get a 1 inch but trust me that a 1/2 inch is fine. I obviously can't shoot more than 1ml of oil but my last tren run, I used slin pins the entire cycle and shot in my delts and quads and shot in to the muscle. I have never had a problem so have at it. Remember, back in the day, guys used to use 22g for most of their shots and we have to remember to stay on top of the times because they constantly change. I have also injected my test sub-q in the stomach and haven't had any problems what so ever and I have done a shit load of injections in my life time of being on gear. Its just a matter of preference. I honestly can't see myself going back to 25g needles after using slin pins. So much easier and painless. And maybe if some of you fuckers were on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for years, then you would opt for the slin pins as well. Lol. Haha.

Not a HUGE difference between 27g and 29g either so yeah it would work. I would think it would take a little while longer when pushing oils through. I also have some 29g 5/8" I could use elsewhere, like delts, etc.

I also picked up some 31g, 6mm slins recently for the HGH injections, although they are a little short, for HGH, those are nice :)

It may depend on your bodyfat level. When you inject needle goes smooth through the fat. Once you hit the muscle tissue, you'll feel it, it hurts more and needle doesn't slide in as smooth. Then you can judge from there how far the needle is in. You can't go wrong with 1"
