Question about deadlift

I do the sumo stance with deadlifting, and I've always scraped the fuck out of my shins. Oh well, sometimes that is simply due to a person's unique bio-mechanics and how they pull the bar off the floor. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

These days, I wear shorts and soccer shin-guards when doing dead-lifts. I probably look like a fuckin' clown with that gear, but at least I don't have bloody shins. :D
