Question about egg whites?

When people on here say to eat X amount of egg whites in the morning, do they mean to eat them them raw, as in put them in a cup and drink them, or do you hard boil them and eat them? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Whatever works for you. You can get the pasturized eggwhites in a carton in the dairy case at your grocery. In which case it's perfectly fine to drink them down raw.

Make them into an omlette. Use them hardboiled.

IMO it's all the same.

either way`s good imo.Just make sure you use very fresh eggs if you are gonna be eating them raw, and always straight from the fridge,NEVER at an ambient temperature.

Eat the whole egg, people in India are starving and would kill for an egg yolk. And cook them. Salmonella, is only one of the things you should worry about when eating raw eggs.

i buy the egg whites in a container easier like that plus i dont waste the yolk i make an omlette or scramble it

try the flavored egg whites in the carton: garden veg, southwestern, cheese and chive. awesome!!

when im in a hurry i just chug them down but when i have time i cook them. I havent experianced a difference in the way I consume them.

dont be a pussy, eat the whole damn egg, it wont kill you :)

yeah it will. If your going to start eating lots of eggs, better skip the yolks.

If you eat 6 eggs a week, then no, it wont be a problem obviously.

Ronnie is a pussy because he does not eat egg yolks even on his off season.

1 or 2 whole eggs along with 6-8 egg whites is a good compromise and gives the eggs a good flavor/texture/color . the whole egg has a better amino acid profile than just whites alone so SOME yolks will help with that .

There are lots of good nutrients found in the yolk. Plus, damn'it, I like the yolk. A little fat doesn't hurt, and the calories help me to GROW.

Please disregard my positive comments about the egg yolk. I recently found out that my cholesterol is through the roof.

So, adjust the yolks based on your own respective lipid profile.
