question about the 5x5...

so say i'm doing chest and i hit 225x5 on flat then can i do incline db the same way and then flys? or is this just for flat bench? how many diffrent exercise do you do this with? im trying to search for it but can't find it...
 
u pick a compound exercise and use the 5x5 rep scheme. the next two exercises are 3 sets 8-10. 1 main exercise for the 5x5 and then usually 2 more exercises. thats all you'll really need.
 
I'm guessing you're doing needsize's version of the 5x5. This worked well enough for me, but this version http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow1/5x5_Program/Linear_5x5.htm worked even better. Even the dumbest fuck on earth could do this routine and plug in his/her numbers. But to answer your original question, no you shouldn't do another main compound exercise after doing one (of the same muscle group) previously on the same day. You would do an accessory exercise.
