Question from Brazil

Great forum guys. I am 40 years old, libido is tanked, ed problems, no energy, want to sleep all the time. Went to a endo here in Brazil that is a specialist in the hormone replacement field. My labs were done and he has the results so I am recalling this by memory.

Total test was in the mid 400's, E2 was 54 which the top of the range was 50 or 52. Everything else was in the normal range. I will get a copy of the labs tomorrow and repost.

My endo said that my T level was low and my E2 was a high.
Then he ask if me and my wife was planning to have kids and she said yes. He sent me to have a sonogram of my nuts to make sure I didn't have varicocele. The doc that took the sonogram said everything was normal.

So tomorrow I am going back to see the endo. He is a big fan of the pellet implants and said his last up to 1 year. I am leaning more toward the injections.
Any recommendation on what I should request as far as T and an AI? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first post so if I screw something up, please be patient.

If you can get it test cypionate injection (100mg+ e5-7 days depending on what the t levels read after the shot) and aromasin. like 25mg once or twice a week. idk about pellets...he sounds like he knows what he is doing though. some people respond better to test e so it's a little bit of trial and error. I've never tried pellets. the gel sucks though.

Pellets? Everytime you need to adjust your levels, it'll require minor surgery.. I wouldn't go with them.. AS CJW says, try to get a script for test cyp or test E (very little difference between these 2). Tell him that you want to inject it yourself so you dont have to go in for a visit every week. If he wont give you aromasin, ask for arimidex 3mgs a week till you get the e2 down, then you might be able to reduce it.. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 250ius 2x week to keep your nuts working (especially if you want more kids).. good luck and keep us posted

Guys, thanks for the input. I thought I would give you an update.
I just got back from the endo and he said I had bilateral varicocele, and went through how everything worked.
He said that if I was his son he would have surgery.
He did prescribe Clomid for the high E2, 100mg 3 times a week, every other week, every other month.
There was on older gentlemen in the office before me and he had a T level of 70 and had varicocele surgery in May and now his T sits at over 1K. He said it changed his life.
Just to let you know Clomid in Brazil is citrate de clomifeno $23 bucks for (10) 50mg pills.

He also gave me a script for the pellets but I am going to pass on that.

Now on to research varicocele surgery. I will keep you posted.

Clomid for high e2?? Maybe you misunderstood him.. Fertility maybe? If it's for e2 find another doctor to give the proper meds
