Click to expand... right on once again. They're generally done because injury or the need to work on a specific area of the deadlift, e.g. the top portion of the pull. I never do them, b/c I like the full range of motion from a real deadlift, but some people swear by em.

P pullinbig Community Veteran Mar 12, 2004 #4 stiff legs and these as well give the lifter a break from full pulls as doing full pulls every week will wear you down after a while.
