Raloxifene what should it look like?

OK, so I mixed my Ralox as recommended on package. I've had it at least 3 years, but it gives no shelf life and plastic was still on bottle, unopened. It came out lumpy and almost in a gelatin state. Vigorous shaking and it's a lumpy liquid. Is this normal or should it be nice and smooth, yet thick liquid?

Can I assume you're talking about RUI product? Raloxifene is among the products they say requires refrigeration in the FAQ, so if it hasn't been refrigerated I personally would not use it, especially since the consistency has changed.

Yes, it's RUI product. It has been refrigerated since I've mixed it up. Never used it so I'm not sure how it should look. I wanted board feedback before I contact RUI.

They changed their formula last year. The newer one is more of a smooth liquid. The older needed to be shaken like crazy to get it to be consistent. Id imagine you have the older version. Just shake the hell out of it before dosing and I would think you will be ok. I was personally happy to see that they changed the formula.
Edited in: You def have the older version , the new is pre mixed when you receive it, the old you had to mix. Like I said just shake the hell out of it. It was def a strange consistency.

From what I understand, as research chems these do not really carry an expiration date. The following line is in the RUI faq:

"What is the shelf life of my research chemical?

Our products have a shelf life of at least a year when stored properly. But that is not a guarantee."

RUI used to not carry ralox because it wasn't shelf stable. I guess they have solved the problem, but considering your product had to be reconstituted, I would conjecture that its shelf life is on the lower end. I wouldn't use it.

It's definitely an older version, and think of cottage cheese consistency.
Maybe time to just spring for a bottle of their newer version man. Better than wasting your time if this ends u being expired and lost alot of its potency. The new version is nicer anyway. No mixing BS anymore.
