Serratus workouts

haha what and where are they?

This is the muscle right above your rib cage and when fully developed often look like shark gills!

I also read something that real heavy incline presses will help. You don't actually perform the lift like it's intended, you simply take it off the rack and attempt to contract the muscle

can anyone tell me what's the difference of BB pullovers with Db pullovers?
thanks

1. straight arm pullovers hit the chest and expand the rib cage. A DB is better used because it gives more chest stretch which expands the rib cage more.

2. bent arm pullovers work the lower lats and serratus. A BB is better used because it involves more lats and serratus, and stretch in that area. Rope pulls also develop the serratus muscle nicely. The pullover machine is great as well, for the serratus AND lats.

thanks guys! Been working out and having a slow, yet good progress. A friend of mine told me that doing narrow-gripped chin-ups hits the serratus too, is that true? I really think that the serratus is one of the most neglected part...even my friends never gave it any importance..oh well..

Damn right it does! I forgot that one.

so, when you do cables....having a straight arms expands the rib cage and chest while bending arms affects the the serratus and lats? but when I do bend arms, most of the time, it hits my triceps hard...
