Seven weeks in to TRT, not feelin it lately

That is up to you. It is better, but it costs more. The Hormone Panel for Males includes it so consider that one too.

I just got my lab results, I've been injecting 200mg of Test C once a week since February 18th, my Total T (1222) doesn't surprise me, but my Estradiol (34) really does, I know they're both high but I expected the Estradiol to be much worse (higher).

So I'm really looking for some advice on what to do from here.

I'd like to avoid taking an AI if possible (I went in to see the doc today ready to fight over getting an AI, with info and sources to back me up) but I'm thinking maybe I don't need one. My T doesn't need to be that high, and I'd like to bring that E2 down in to the optimal range.

I think I should lower my dose but I'm not sure how low to go, maybe 175-180mg?

I'd also like to avoid injecting twice a week if possible, I will if that's what it takes, I'd just rather not.

My complaints are.....I don't have the energy that I think I should, my libido is sometimes pretty high, sometimes it's just non existent, wood is good when my libido is good, although a few days ago i was horny and couldn't get wood to save my life, even after taking a Cialis...that was weird, and I have a little acne popping up, not severe at all just more than I've had in a long time.

I donate blood in a week, go back for labs again in six weeks, and see the doctor in eight weeks.

Total T - 1222
Hematrocrit - 45.6
Estradiol Sensitive - 34

Regular Estradiol was 69.6, I don't know why he ran both tests, and I'm pretty sure this number doesn't even matter, I will continue to get the Estradiol Sensitive test done and base any adjustments off of that and my Total T.

Does it sound like I'm on the right track here?

Thanks in advance guys, I really appreciate the knowledge here and all the help you guys give me.

I forgot to mention, the blood draw for these labs was three days after my previous injection, so I injected 200mg on Tuesday morning, March 18th, and the blood draw was done on Friday morning, March 21st.

E2 of 34 is right in the sweet spot. That is not high at all. That's right where you want it to be. You don't need an AI.

But keep checking it just to make sure it stays in the sweet spot. I find it helpful to check you peak and trough levels. This current blood work is closer to your peak.

Thanks Megatron, that's great to hear, next labs will be done at trough. Do you think I should bring my Total T down, or just leave things alone? I mean, if my E2 is good would bringing my TT down help with any of those complaints of mine, doesn't seem like it would.

My guess is that you are getting a bit of a roller coaster ride with your hormone levels. Injecting 100mg every 3.5 days would be much better than doing 200mg every 7 days. That would be the thing I would try doing.

Okay, that was my plan if my E2 was high anyways, so I'll do that and post up lab results in two months.

Thanks again!

1) High E2
2) Peaks and troughs from high dose low frequency injections causing high e2 and high test - low test

Also my recommendation.

I normally inject on Tuesday mornings but I wanted to wait until I saw my labs, and get your opinions here, so I injected 100mg last night and will do the same on Saturday morning.

Thanks again guys.

Don't get me wrong, I would kick the girl in your current avi out of bed for eating crackers, but I liked your old avi better. :-)

You should notice a big difference changing the dosing to twice a week, I certianly did and it meant dropping my adex dose to 1.5mg per week from 7mg per week (1mg ED had my e2 over range still, now it is at perfect level after changing to twice weekly instead of once weekly, yet same dose, I also feel a lot better as you should expect).

Had to change it up and keep things fresh, I have a thing for girls with that firey red hair look... But Remy Lacroix does have a very, very, fine ass :yumyum: I might have to find Remy with a Redhead... Oh shit I know just the video, new avi of a stunning fire redhead with Remy's fine ass should be up soon ;)

Well, my doctor is really pissing me off, for some reason he doesn't want to run the Estradoil Sensitive test, he did it once because I insisted, but it doesn't look like he ordered it with my last labs, he said he did, but the test wasn't done, he ordered the regular assay, but not the sensitive, although he assured me that he did, that and Hematocrit, he doesn't seem to think that's important either, really frustrating!

I've been injecting 100mg twice a week for about two months, had labs done on May 30th, my TT was 1302, but the test was called "Special Chemistry Testosterone" (reference range 249-836) I thought that was weird, last time it was "Testerone Serum", same lab.

Estradiol was 85.3 (reference range 7.6-42.6) He's talking about adding Arimidex to my protocol based on that number, I told him I wont start an AI until I see a sensitive assay result that is to high, I have zero sides from high E2, except maybe my hit or miss libido.

LFT's were good.

Labs were done at trough, last injection before labs was on a Tuesday night, blood was drawn Friday afternoon

Been donating blood every two months.

And that's all I have for now, I've called his office and I'm waiting for a call back to see if they actually ran the Estradiol Sensitive test and the Hematocrit, doctor said at the time of my follow up last week that maybe the results weren't in yet.

I have lowered my dose to 80mg twice a week and I'll get labs done in about a month, I will insist again that he orders the proper test, in the meantime I'm waiting to hear from another doctor to see if he will take me as a new patient.

I'm still not feeling like I'm getting the benefits that I thought I would, still lacking energy, libido comes and goes, mentally I feel good, positive outlook, mood is good, overall feeling pretty well, just lacking in a couple departments.

Probably going to have to, I've been trying to avoid it because my insurance covers my labs, but if he doesn't come around I'll have to.

These labs are not all that expensive. Go to private MD. Get the Hormone Panel for Females and also get Estradiol Sensitive.

But I will tell you that the higher your E2, the more accurate the Regular Assay is. Based on the E2 of 85 it is most likely that you require an AI or change in your TRT protocol.

Oy.....confusing, I did drop my dose, hopefully that'll bring my E2 down, I was hoping to be one of the lucky ones that wouldn't need an AI. two months ago my E2 (sensitive) was 34 and my E2 (regular) was 69.6. Maybe I'll lower my dose a little more, what really pisses me off is that if this doctor would have ran the right tests from the beginning, I think I'd have a pretty solid protocol by now. I'll get labs done again in 4-5 weeks and see where I'm at.
