Mc deal meal special
I don't think i'm eating enough right now.

My diet is:
2 peanut buttter and jam sandwhiches
1.5 chicken breast and 2 small Potatoes
1.5 chicken breast and 1/2 cup rice
cottage cheese(1 cup) and yougurt (2*3/4cups)
When i work out a protein shake which is around 300 cals and 56 grams protien
Sometimes a salad with a can of tuna
Cottage cheese (1 cup) with fruit for bed

is this enough or should i add some more, i feel hungry and lazy now. I dunno if i'm lazy b/c of the cycle, but i always had energy when i got home from work now i wanna sleep. So i assume it's the 150mg eod of propoinate.
 
I wouldn't say you're starving! Depends, are you trying to bulk, cut, maintain? I guesstimated the total calories, it's roughly 3000 give or take. What is your height, weight, bf%?
 
kind of a bunch of crap. meals 2 and 3 are good though. switch out a big boal of oatmeal with eggs or somthing for meal one and eat another good meal/carb meal later. keep one cottage cheeze meal, ditch the yogurt.
 
Thats not a bunch of crap. He's got chicken, cottage cheese, rice, potatoes, peanut butter. All that is good. If he said 2 big macs, 20 piece chicken nugget, and a dozen doughnuts then that would be crap.

Trade the small potatoes for sweet potatoes...white rice for brown rice...Watch your sugars from the jam and yogurt, cut 'em out if necessary...There are better protein sources than yogurt (string cheese, beans, tofu, fish, chicken)...Add more veggies - asparagus, broccoli, etc etc...I kinda agree with Warmachine about the first meal...Try oatmeal with peanut butter...
 
since when is pbj an acceptable meal for bbing? like 500g of carbs and 20g protien. i guess its lots of kcals...

I'm 6'5, 302, and i guess 18-20%
 
I'm trying to cut bf, what time would u stop the carb intake at.

It's also hard for me to get up early for work. I get up early enough as it is. Unless i make 5 egg whites and 3 whole eggs the night before in a bowl. The reason i take the cottage cheese before bed. Because i heard it has casine protien in it which takes longer to break down, which is good for when u sleep.

Also I thought peanut butter was good for the healthy fats it has in it. But thats it.

so meal 2,3, 4 more chicken, sweet potatoes, and some veggies.
 
for breakfast you can do a whey shake with a bowl of oatmeal. Better than PBJ. Or you could make an omlette the night before and just pop it in the microwave. Or if you really want a sandwhich use some meat, not PBJ.

Yea natty peanut butter is a good source of fat, but the jelly is worthless sugar. You also need a protein source.

Also get some carbs after your workout.

Check the cutting sticky, there are plenty of sample diets around.

500g carbs in 4 pieces of bread? jesus, what kind of bread do you use?:laugh:
 
Incomplete protein as well. 1.5 chicken breasts is about 45g protein if yours are the same size as mine (Foster Farms frozen), which isn't a lot.
 
mudge: i go down to costco and buy the box which is 4kg. There not big i usually make enough so it's a good meal. Sometimes it's 2 per meal

suareezzay: I'll try the protein shake with oatmeal it's fast to make. And we have a shit load of oatmeal. Then just boil some egss the night before and have that with it also.

I'll cut out the pbj and jam sandwhiches then, it's not nearly enough its around 300cals if that.

Well not so much the jelly but pb = good fats and protein, especially if it's natty pb. And I think you're slightly off on the carbs :afro:

huh? is what an incomplete protein?

it doesnt really matter. theres no such thing as an incomplete protein. things labeled incomplete proteins are usually lacking in one amino relative to the bodys requirements. Most western diets include way more protein than needed, and BB diets include even more. Dont even worry about it.

ok ok so i was exagerating. but honestly if the sandwhichs have a decent amount of jelly thats about 150g of carb per sandwich. that much sugar and fat always blows me up. you know what owns a pbj? replace the jelly with a banana! man that shit is good...
