Steak? good or bad?

i had a quick question about steak. or any kinda beef.. im trying to eat real clean. and i want to eat somthing other than fish and chicken. so i was wondering if steak was ok? and should i eat it for lunch of after i work out for dinner? or should i not include it in my diet at all? thanks
 
steak is great. basically a natural source of ZMA.

i also read something about the protein DNA being like twice as long as the protein in chicken...im probably not even close on that, and im probably not using the right term, i just remember some minute, insignificant aspect of beef was like 500,000 while the same thing in chicken was like 250,000. Nevermind...ill have to look it up lol.
 
If it was cheaper I would eat 3 steaks per day.

IMO beef is way better than white meat for packing on the mass.
 
what about steak verse. hambuger ground beef? in this case is steak a better choice if your tyring to eat clean?

stop worrying about "clean". if youre cooking it yourself, its clean enough.

If you're looking to cut....95% lean ground beaf is the way to go,ground turkey is even leaner however,it dosn't taste as good. You have to be real careful with steak,if you're bulking it's the best choice for meat...do to the fact it's the most anabolic food you can eat,if you're on a lean mass diet or a cutting diet,the only cut would be a (top round,lean sirloin).Keep in mind that all the tasty cuts (ribeye,prime rib,tritip)have huge amouts of fat,if it's a 8 ounce cut (pussy portion)prime rib has 90g fat and 800-900 cals in one little steak-ribeye's not to far away either.I feel you always need at least one fatty cut a week!
 
If you cook ground beef, brown it up on the stove.

Then dump it into a strainer and run it under HOT water for a minute and wash the fat down the sink.

This will cut the most fat out of your ground beef.

BTW, I eat loads of ground beef and always cook it this way.

and it is very versatile, grill it, make it jamaican jerk style, broil it, it is great grilled and put on a caesar salad
