Steroids and becoming a police officer, anyone with knowledge of this?

So I took my police test last weekend, and did real well on everything. They told me then that probably in a month 1/2 that they'd send out letters for interviews. So my main worry is me on steroids. This will be my 3rd cycle of Test E 500mg for 12 weeks, with dbol kickstart. All PCT and HCG is good to go, so is AI. Age if 28, Stats is 5'10 192lbs. I havn't started the cycle, my time off ended about 2 weeks ago and blood test said my test was a little low.

Anyone have experience in this situation? Should I go ahead and start my cycle? I know for the interrogation, if they ask if I've ever done AAS I'll tell them yes but say I did it in the past. I was also wondering about the drug test, do they even test for AAS? I for a second thought of using someone elses urine if possible.

Being a former law enforcement officer in the United States I can give you first hand experience.

I wasn't drug tested not even once, and even if I was to be tested I would assume it's for your basic: Marijuana, cocaine, meth, etc...

I was given a lie detector test before joining where they asked if I have consumed any illegal substances, and the way I interpreted the question I thought they meant marijuana, cocaine, meth, etc..


As long as you don't do the above drugs, and don't drink heavily you'll be fine. Congrats on becoming an Deputy if you become one - I quit after receiving a reality check and realizing my job wasn't worth 30k annually...

If you're willing to tamper with urine samples to get the job it seems like you might be willing to tamper with evidence to get a conviction.

The difference is you're an idiot for getting caught. I can't tell you how many times I've had people light a marijuana cigarette in front of me in full uniform.

I'm not pro-marijuana or Anti, but if you're going to consume an illegal substance do the mature thing and do it discretely in the privacy of your home.

They do not test for AAS unless u have that look .... ( huge ) ..
Or unless someone tips them off ,...

Agreed. The polygraph is the issue. However, not all departments ask about steroids. As far as the polygraph, you'll fill out several pages where questions are asked. You answer the questions, then the polygraph examiner uses that questionnaire during the test. I trained in Quantico, VA for Marine Officer. The FBI academy is in Quantico, and I once considered a job with them until I found out if I had EVER used gear, I would be disqualified. Fuck them! No wonder they produce so many dipshits these days. Lol!

And NO, the pd doesn't test for gear. Very expensive test.

What are they going to ask him if he's using steroids on a poly i don't see them asking that i see them asking if he's used narcotics idk or will they ask what drugs he has used which he will have to admit to juice so it probably be smarter not to use till after u get sworn in or better yet wait till their gonna film cops in your town i was just watching one and a couple cops were freaks so obvious lmao

They def ask about steroids on the Poly. Polygraphs aren't that hard to beat though.

There are agencies that test for gear. Some even have a banned substance list that includes things that aren't illegal. Most don't check unless they suspect though or theres been an incident.
If you use someone else urine. If you get caught doing that and you'll never get a job with an Leo agency or for that matter any company that gets wind of that stunt. That testing company has a whole list of codes for people caught cheating and what not. Anyone that has access to that labs or who they shares info with and your screwed.
They have several protocols in place just to make sure you can't use anyone else's urine to include some watch you put sample in jar. One of things I got stuck doing in military during drug testing time for everyone. Damn, I hated it. Bottom line if there's any doubt they may just straight up say it's a failed test. Same with masking agents. Some labs first thing they check for is masking agents. Anything shows up it's a failed test.
I've also heard of guys using someone else's urine and it wasn't clean so it cost them the job anyways.
