Strength Training, how much??

I'm actually going 5 days a week now.. doing cardio 45 min each time. How long should I be strength training/toning each time?? I've only been working out again now for a couple of weeks, guess I probably should just try that first. I'm just really impatient, and I remember how fast I started seeing results before when I was on premobolen (sp?) Remember that I do not want to get bulky though, just a little toned.

First things first......although this is tough you should never be impatient when it comes to achieving the body you want. It takes time and alot of dedication. At this point in time stay away from the primobolan. It's much to early to be taking it.......lets get your diet and training on track first.

If you don't want to get bulky than just watch your calories and the quality of your food. Clean eating is a must. You won't gain muscle unless you are taking in extra calories. (Keep in mind the newbie effect....you may gain a bit of muscle being new to working out again.....but not enough to get you "bulky".) Keep your calories at a maintenance or sub maintenance level.

You should be lifting 3 to 4 days a week, and I would keep the cardio at 4 days with 2 HIIT sessions in there. Don't worry about how long you lift.....it's quality, not quantity that counts. No need to overdo it on the cardio, unless you really want to lean out.

I think you should tell us a bit more about your diet and training.....then we can really give some detailed advice.
