Suporting the lifestyle

I've come to find out over the last few years that simplicity is king. I went to college, I got technical certifications on the side, I went to work and it ruined me. I can't commit to bodybuilding while nursing nor can I truly with residential direct care, or AoC. I'm coming to the conclusion that I'd much rather work a light-low paying gig than any of the latter. I've applied to work at a couple gyms in my area, I'm still looking to apply to more. I think that if I worked at a gym, not necessarily the one I'd be training at i.e. planet fitness that I'd not only be in a great space mentally but also physically by being able to have a bite whenever I need to. I know rooming with my cousin I could definitely make ends meet. We used to room together before I left for school and since then I haven't had a training partner and it's been an enormous hole in my training.

Really hope I get the call on my app

I totally agree, I worked labour for a while and it was a complete bitch to have high-intensity in the gym after a long day, plus all the extra calories needed..was harsh on the body. I definitely think the best jobs for a bodybuilding lifestyle besides obviously being a paid bodybuilder are jobs like security, bouncer, etc or of course being a personal trainer. Good luck getting a job at a gym!

Dude, let the kids that don't have the ambition to earn a higher education work the minimum wage jobs. There are so many benefits of working in a higher paying career field it's not even funny. You can make it work if you truly want to, it just requires discipline and time. Take it from a guy that took the short cut by working manual labor for 6 years after high school only to find that if you want to have a family you NEED a stable career path. Needless to say, going back to school in your mid-thirties to make up for mistakes made on a misspent youth sucks.

Look at the end, not the means brother. Having a nice disposable income in a secure career is FAR better than being able to have a flexible routine now. I promise you this.

I couldn't afford the lifestyle without my job. I've done it all. Flip burgers, break my back on concrete, cut grass, build houses. But thankfully I got into a good paying field, busted my ass a few years, and now I'm foreman so I just sit on my behind all night and point... It's great. Less work, greater responsibility and money. I love my job. U need a good job OP, unless u goin pro you'll never be able to support a family working at a gym less u own it
