Supplents

First let me state that I take a lot of supplements. Mostly ones for improved health and longevity.

Now let me state that I regularly have training clients that come to me for help that are spending 200+ a month on supplements not counting protein. The interest in supplements for bodybuilding performance is a HUGE market.

Finally I will state that UNLESS you already have your training and diet dialed, OR are taking a supplement for purely health or longevity purposes, YOU ARE WASTING YOUR FUCKING MONEY.

All the supplements in the world are useless unless your training and diet are dialed. If you don’t create the need for growth with proper workouts that both stimulate growth and no do overtrain/overreach your bodies ability to recover, and you do not fuel the growth with correct nutrition you are wasting your time and money simple as that!

Excellent post.

Unfortunately, many think the next big supplement will allow them to get some the benefit of working out without working out, or will allow them to eat unlimited amounts and still lose weight without dieting.

hard work= results. no pain no gain no free rides. dont know why people think there is a majic pill. all marketing i guess.

wow i sense some repressed anger :bash:

But a very true statement. I wish there was something that could make my stomach bottomless or atleast a ray gun to shrink the food but still get the same out of it...now wouldn't that be cool...lol

Eating and eating and eating is the most difficult part of the whole thing for me. The training is the easy part, you go in and do it once a day while you have to eat 5-7 times a day...now isn't that strange...funny how it works...then you have to make time to sleep atleast 8 hours, then do something to make money to feed the monster you've become. We need a supplement that gives us more time in a day...maybe that'll be the new big thing

No way man. N02 is a supplement that's worth every penny. The pumps are incredible man. I actually "feel the chicken breast entering my bicep" on that stuff.

:insane2:

actually overheard some douche quoting this to another douche in the gym tonight.

whats even funnier is that is straight out of the book for NO2...

Supplements are exactly what they say: "Supplements". This is of course in addition to your diet, workout regimen etc... This is part of a healthy lifestyle. I agree with the previous post. You have to have this aspect of your life dialed down before you take the extra step and buy supplementary products etc... Those alone do not do the trick. Nothing comes in a magic pill. You have to work in conjunction with your eating habits, excercise and any supplements that could assist you in reaching your goals. Good luck.

exactly...

Your program should certainly not rely on supplements instead supplements should “supplement” an already great program - not make it.
