how many of you actually take a week off? i cant imagine taking time off, i just got forced to miss all last week since i had the flu, and i get so moody and angry, very impatient. i feel like i become a different person. has anyone experienced this?

well, we don't mind taking weeks off if we're really drained from weekly heavy works. like myself, I take a week or so off every 3-4 months.
it's reptty normal..really..no worries.
ofcourse, that would depend on your diet..if your diet is good..then you won't have to worry about muscle loses and stuff...
and you'll be a lot stronger when you go back to gym after taking weeks off

rookie03 i know what ya mean. I hate taking time off, pisses me off. However, the very few times i have taken time off i've came back stronger. I used to work out 5 days a wk and now am down to 3. Feel like i'm taking time off so was gonna go to 4 days a wk, but am making good gains w/the 3 day a wk, so might just stay there.

You basterds... I don't make gains unless I spend everyday of my life at the gym!

2 days off and I've lost 2 years of muscle. WHY?!?!

Not possible. its in your head. How long have u been training?? I u spent every day in the gym, u'd either hit a plateau, hit a plateau and then start loosing strength, or get an injury. Is your diet in check?? Whats your program look like??
