I would absolutely say it would help. As long as you load it properly and keep your maintence dose up I think it will help you. 4-6 mg a week for 5 weeks then 4 mgs every week there after.

What are you mixing it with? It shouldn't burn. I had some hospira sterile water that burned but bac water and bac sodium chloride doesn't burn.
