Hey I am running my first cycle of AAS. I'm running 100mg of test prop EOD. I am also taking fish oil, milk thistle and a one a day. I have nolvadex for post cycle therapy (pct). My question is how many times per week should I hit each muscle while on cycle? I usually hit each muscle one time per week besides abs and destroy it while I'm in the gym since
I know it won't be worked again for another week. I've gained 7-8 pounds and have been on my cycle 3 weeks now. Can't really tell where my gains are, I'm assuming all over. I'm 5'10" and weighing 185 right now. I'm somewhere between 12-15% body fat but I'm pretty defined. So basically my only question is how

While not as tactfully as I would have put it zeedubz does have a point. You really should have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) if you don't as estrogen sides can be a royal pain (like growing a pair of C-cups). 350mg of test is on the lighter side of things, but I'm sure you'll see some decent results as long as your diet and training regimen are on point. Honestly, I'd continue with the same program you currently have and expect the intensity to increase as the androgens build up in your bloodstream. You'll probably feel like you can do more, but remember - you grow when NOT in the gym and should let them rest. ;)

I honestly think you should hit up the diet section as 185 at your height tells me that you do have some work to do in the diet area as you could easily achieve 200lbs naturally with the right meal plan. Nobody can tell you what your gains are going to be as we all put on mass differently and it (as mentioned earlier) all comes down to diet.

I've got like 3 marine buddies who never had side effects or used an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) or had gyno from test prop. I've done my "research" and I know it's recommended, but they just would use a shot of
Nolvadex if any signs of gyno showed up. I don't have a single side effect (yet). They would use nolvadex as an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) if needed and use it as their post cycle therapy (pct). My main question is how many times a week should I hit each muscle group while on cycle? I usually do 20-24 sets for larger groups like chest/back/legs and 12-16 sets for biceps/triceps/shoulders. I stick in the 8-10 rep range. So just curious based on that, how many times a week I should work each muscle group?
 
3 weeks on prop... not a single complaint about pip... either you got fake gear and its just food your eating or your manly as fuck

^^Read this^^, and i agree. I hit each group once a week and no more. Just cause your on steroids doesn't mean you can abuse the muscles.
 
Thanks halfwit. I know I need to eat more, I try as much as I can. I take in 3,000-3,500 calories usually on a daily basis. I just am not wanting to gain fat. I know 12% bf isn't super lean, but it looks good with my muscle definition, and I don't wanna lose that. I've just had a lot of differing opinions, some say take an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and some say an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) isn't necessary on 10g
Of prop EOD, so I donno. So halfwit, are you saying that even if I feel like I can do more, dont? Or should I lift until failure every time at once a week?

Oh dear, so if you had 3 friends that drank liquid bleach and lived - would you? An Aromatase inhibitor (AI) prevents things such as acne, bloat, high blood pressure, prostate CANCER, emotional episodes, and many many other side effects that you cannot see or feel. Nolvadex does NOT prevent any of these and can only stop the growth of breast tissue once you've allowed your hormones to run rampant. Nolva is a SERM not an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) my friend.

I'm assuming by your statement of 20-24 SETS, that's individual exercises like flat bench at 4 sets of 10 reps followed by 4 sets of incline bench, et cetera? Like I said above, I'd stick with that. Test isn't going to magically make it so you can do this three times a week for incredible gains, it simply makes it so your muscles can grow faster and bigger with the provided fuel. Yes, you'll see improved recovery time, but why fix what isn't broken? I'm on double your dose of test and still only train one body part per day at 4 sets x 8-12 reps at 4-6 different exercises and am continuing to grow at an acceptable rate. Slow and steady wins this race, trust me.
 
Imdennis, don't get me wrong the PIP was a bitch the first couple weeks but I'm used to it now. I could barely sit down or roll over in bed the first week, I've just gotten used to it I guess. I still get sore, but feels like more of a bruise now

If you're serious about making some EXCELLENT gains, get in touch with 3J in the diet section that he moderates. He offers a nutrition service that plans out EXACTLY what you need to eat and how much. I can't say enough kind things about his expertise to be honest as I've been on one of his plans now for almost 8 weeks and loving it! 3500 calories sounds woefully low to me, which is why I recommend this. ;)

If someone is taking 10g of prop EOD and isn't using an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) - they're suicidal and must have alien genetics to not only take in that much oil, but that's an insane amount of AAS to even ponder. I can't imagine the bankroll they'd have either lol. Yes, keep lifting to failure and put in 150% every set. I did shoulders tonight, and can barely lift my cup to my mouth to drink my water. You'll still grow, I promise. :)

The only side effect I know I am having is high blood pressure. My systolic is high. I was 146/82 the other day while at rest. As far as acne and other stuff, nothing yet. Thanks tho. That's the answers I was looking for. I'll stick with my

Sounds good, just remember to start off low like .25mg EOD with arimidex or 6.25mg of aromasin ED. That will help to keep those sides at bay and keep that nice hard look we all desire. Welcome to 'ology! :D
 
Lol I meant 100mg EOD not 10g EOD. 2 last questions half wit, would 200mg of prop every Thursday and Sunday be ideal or is 100mg EOD enough? Also, will prop or any AAS in general keep bf% in check while eating an excess amount of calories, or

I kind of figured that's what you meant, but one never knows! 35g of test a week... I can't even imagine that amount! You'll want to stick to EOD injects or at least a M-W-F schedule due to the half-life of the ester. You can increase it to 130mg EOD if you're looking for a slight bump to your dose though. While testosterone does increase your metabolism and helps with protein synthesis, it once again comes back to diet. If you're eating "dirty" carbs or have bad macronutrient ratios, you will gain fat as well as muscle. This is one of those things I've had a great deal of problems with as I do enjoy eating everything in sight. :( I prefer a 5 minute warm-up before lifts, followed by a 20 minute cardio (low intensity) post-workout. If you're really looking into cutting even more, you can always go with a HIIT approach.
 
Ok cool, perfect sounds good halfwit. I'll just start adding in a mile jog at the end of every workout or like 15 min of light cardio at the end of every workout. I'll prob stick with 100mg EOD or 125mg EOD for last 5 weeks of my cycle. Last question and ill stop bugging you. I got this test prop through a buddy and the lab is fast muscle co. For future cycles, is ordering online and having it shipped priority mail to my house safe?
