Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) Experience

TRT Experience

This is just a post relaying my experience & progress thus far on TRT.

I just fell into testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) by accidental luck i suppose. I'm 34 yrs. old and have been training for 10 years or so. I've often considered doing a cycle of AAS but any source I've ever had seemed too fishy to depend on for legitimacy etc. I purchased some Test E & Anavar earlier in the summer but was too paranoid about their authenticity to start the cycle. Frustrated, I started investigating on how to get Test legitimately. By chance, I found a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) clinic in my town and called. Long story short, after being tested, it turns out I actually have low testosterone. Yay for me. My total test was 300 and estrogen was around 6 or 7. No wonder I've felt like shit for so long! They started me on 150mg of Test C per week. I didn't actually notice any difference until the 4th or 5th week. I would wake up and just get out of bed. No thinking about drowning myself in the shower. No thinking about going to sleep on my way to work. I was just... awake and rested. Wow. I hadn't felt that since... I don't even know but its great. Also, my strength level had gone up dramatically in the gym. My bench increased by 60lbs. That was a great feeling too. I had an all around sense of well being and a raging erection. Needless to say, my wife was getting much much more attention in the sack. Then about 2 or 3 weeks later I crashed. Energy was zero, moody as hell and all around yuck. Blood test showed my estrogen level was too high. I started a round of Arimidex at 1mg every 3 days for 1 week, then .5 mg every 3 days for 5 more weeks. My mood and energy did not improve at all and I developed a serious case of shoulder acne. I didn't get acne growing up so this was a shocker. That shit itches! Its gross and made me feel like a grease ball. Blood test #2 showed only 540 total Test and low estrogen. I assume the amount of Arimidex they were giving me tanked my level and boy oh boy the side effects suck. Now I'm on my 2nd week at 180mg test and 0 Arimidex. I hope to get it all dialed in right soon and get back to feeling good. I have to get tested every 5 weeks until my levels are right on and I'm feeling good. After that point, I think I'll add my Test E to the mix for 10 weeks and possibly add the Anavar (var) as well. I'm happy with what I've seen so far, despite the sides and am glad to have waited on pinning Test myself. I wouldn't have any idea what was going on with me and more than likely wasted the cycle.
